Chainsawing and Hauling Trees on the Louisiana Mission Trip

We spent several days clearing trees from peoples' yards. Here Katie sits in front of a brush pile the team gathered. Aaron and Cory, the two smallest members of the team, work together to transport a section of a large tree trunk. Andrew's face is obscured by the huge log he carries, as Amy gathers branches and smaller logs.
One member of our team, Matt, had a large log fall on his ankle. We fashioned a very nice crutch for him from a branch we found. This elderly lady, in her 70s, was living by herself in her house, which had been totally gutted. She was sleeping on an air mattress on the floor. We cleared out this huge tree for her. She was SO grateful for our help!
We used all sorts of tools to move the trees: from wheelbarrows and doilies... ...to little red wagons! Another job well done! Left to right:
